Hunter McEaddy Associates, Inc., received his master's degree from the University of Georgia, School of Environmental Design, in landscape archiecture with a concentration in historic preservation. Catherine P. McEaddy, a freelance writer and native of Charleston, holds a master's degree in creative writing from American University and a bachelor's degree in history from Davidson College. This father-daughter team selected photographs from various institutional and government archives, as well as images from the private collections of Charlestonians who have tended these gardens through the years.
