Nancy Hayashi

Nancy Hayashi grew up in Bucyrus, Ohio, where every week she would check out as many books as she could carry from her local library. By the time she was in third grade, she knew she wanted to make books herself. After working as a designer and ar director, Ms. Hayashi began writing and illustrating books for children. Ms. Hayashi lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two sons. She still checks out as many library books as she can.
