Lisa Ballantyne

Lisa Ballantyne was born in Scotland and studied English literature at the University of St. Andrews. She lived and worked in China, where she started writing seriously. Before being published, her work was short-listed for the Dundee Interational Book Prize. Her debut novel, The Guilty One, was long-listed for the International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award, was short-listed for an Edgar Allan Poe Award, and was chosen for the Autumn 2012 Richard and Judy Book Club.
