Freeman Cleaves

Freeman Cleaves is the author of several books, including Old Tippecanoe: William Henry Harrison and His Time. A member of the editorial staff of Financial World, his avocation for many years was research in American history, specially Civil War history. Mr. Cleaves was educated at Bates College, the University of New Hampshire, and Harvard University.
