Fred Ettawageshik
Fred Ettawageshik (1896-1969) was a leader of the Odawa community on Little Traverse Bay, Michigan. He was a fluent Odawa speaker who was educated at the leading Native American boarding school of its time, Pennsylvania's Carlisle Institute. He wa an active member of the Michigan Indian Defense Association.
