Bharati Sen grew up in South East Asia and holds a Masters degree in International Relations from Jadavpur University in Kolkata, India. She has lived in the United States for over three dcades. She writes regularly in local magazines and is working on a novel with historic connection to the region where she grew up. She lives with her husband in Oklahoma and enjoys reading, gardening, and spending time with her dog, Gabriel.
